Redfest 2014

Redfest at the University of Utah

The annual on-campus fall concert, Redfest, returns Friday, Sept. 19 on the Union Lawn. Headlining the show is beats boss B.o.B, a.k.a. Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr. from the ATL (a.k.a., Atlanta). B.o.B. is best known for hits “Nothin’ On You” (also his debut single) and “Airplanes,” both of which topped music charts across the world.

Other artists slated to perform are Vic Mensa, Pigeon John and a local rap group, the Better Taste Bureau.

Redfest is sponsored by student government — ASUU — who will be hosting a pre-concert “fest” outside the Union the day of the show. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets are available at the Union front desk. Students receive one free ticket and can purchase another for $5. For those who do not attend the U, general admission tickets are available for $25.
