This recession has caught everyone in a downturn, economically speaking. There are more reports of hard times everywhere you go. Listen, you can hear the moans of those around you. Hope is just around the corner at the Career Services. These folks can really help you with the directions to the right career, and not just a job, including resources and advice with practical application. Most  people never get that.
